The founder of Arishi Studio, began her journey far from the world of fashion.

An engineering graduate by education, Aparna has always been deeply inclined toward the arts. Growing up in the small town of Gondia, Maharashtra, she developed an early appreciation for textiles—often draping her mother’s saris and instinctively gravitating toward pieces of exceptional quality and character. Over time, she became a true sari aficionado, known for styling and draping saris in distinctive, expressive ways that reflect her artistic sensibility.

A creative spirit at heart, Aparna’s journey into fashion was not immediate. After exploring multiple ventures, she ultimately chose to follow her passion, leading to the inception of Arishi Studio in 2002.

What began as a personal pursuit has since evolved into a globally loved brand—shaped entirely by her vision, artistic instinct, and unwavering commitment to authenticity.
